Photographer's Note
I took this photo from the driver's side of my rental car (you can see the white car's reflection in the roo's eyes) while driving through Flinders Chase National Park. Although there are rules against feeding the wildlife, this kangaroo may have been hoping for a hand out. The Kangaroo Island Kangaroo, is a subspecies of the Western Grey Kangaroo, having evolved in the ten thousand years that the island has been separate from the mainland. I cannot explain the green on the nose.
