Photographer's Note

Monkey Mia is a national reserve where dolphins occasionally come close enough to shore for people to interact with them. As this happens only occasionally, the park supervision has decided to feed the dolphins and thus teach them to come every day. Why don't people understand that Nature is not about certainty, not about everyone getting a chance to everything? And why does the park management bow to the demands of travel agencies?

Not wanting to be a part of this, we just stopped for lunch on the white beach beyond this incredibly red sand dune just above the beach.

(Don't even ask about the ISO400 setting, it's a mistake as some pictures before were taken in a low-light setting.)
