Many of the roads on Kangaroo Island are unsealed. This one wound its way through a dense forest of small eucalypts.

Hi Steve
Another great one from Kangaroo Island - a tree 'tunnel" and you've managed the lighting perfectly. The road sign adds a neat bit of contrast.

This is a beautiful shot. the straight road and the tunnel created by the trees certainly help guide the eye through this wonderful photograph.

Thank you for sharing - your gallery is absolutely wonderful.

I have also done a quick workshop on this image - i am not saying its better just an alternate of a very good photo.

Hello Steve,
An amazing place, looking more like something out of a fairytale. If it wasn't for the yellow sign I could expect to meet a Tolkien figure around the bend. You have handled the light very well and shot from the right spot to include the sign and the bend.

Hi Steve.
Excellent perspective in this one. I vaguely remember this road from my trip to KI about 15 years ago, those leaning trees. Your exposure handled this one well, since I think it's a bit gloomy in there. But we can see the sunlight poking through and lighting up some of the trunks. Just slightly off-centre, which is good, and the road sign somehow adds something to the picture. Terrific sharpness.

A lovely image Steve. Good low angle and well exposed.I would be tempted to add a tad more contrast to this one just to make it pop a bit more.

I would love to see a kanaroo crossing the road in the distance......
but we can`t allways get what we want......
Anyway ,a good shot with these nice and unique formed trees and great depth.
The yellow streetsign makes it a good composition.

This is great nature shot I have never seen before, both top branches meeting each other forming nice curve, a very cool shades. the eyecatching yellow road sign provides a stunning contrast and lead eyes into the scene, great depth and sense of distance. Fine capture with much details sharpness and well exposed.

Great composition here and most important of all - excellent exposure. I would have stuffed this for sure. The formations of the trees are amazing, like something you'd see driving along an English country road instead of downtown Roo Island. Beautiful textures, rendering and framing. A winner for me, this place is intriguing. Thanks for sharing it and have a good evening
