Photographer's Note

Yesterday I visited the Victor Harbor area with a friend, as usual our aim was to capture some photographic images. This was taken on a beach that was just below the Bluff which is one of the attraction of Victor Harbor, unfortunately I don't know the name of the beach. The views from the Bluff are spectacular and I will present some of the images of them at a later date. We were just starting to lose our sunlight at this stage of the day and this fisherman took up his position on the beach. His shirt blended in well, an added bonus.

Natural ocean gutters created by thunderous surf form havens of shelter and sustenance for migrating salmon, mulloway and mullet in this area. This is great news for fishermen and the local seals. The experienced surfer can take ample sustenance too.

The Photo:
Converted from RAW to Jpeg
Straightened the horizon
Cloned out a small part of a rock that was annoying in the bottom right hand corner
Adjusted brightness, contrast and saturation
Selected the main rock and brighted slightly
Sharpened and added border

Hope you like it,
