Photographer's Note

The very last rays of sunlight strike tombstones at the old cemetery in Silverton, New South Wales.
For just a few seconds, the sun-bleached white stone columns almost seems to glow with a light of their own.
For the briefest moment the silent landscape seems alive, electrified.
And then just as quickly, the moment passes. Only a soft breeze continues to echo the magical scene, blowing mysteriously across the plain. Darkness closes in.
Time to depart.
