Photographer's Note

Sydney's annual Sculpture By the Sea exhibition has just finished. It is on the beach at Tamarama and around the rocks and headlands between Tamarama and Bondi. Huge numbers of people visit.
This sculpture was of a series of animals following a pair of geese down to the water. There were more animals but I couldn't get a clear enough shot to include the lot (this exhibit was quite popular).
The sculptures are made from iron, mostly scrap with things like old exhaust pipes used for the cows innards and a shovel for the pigs lower jaw. You can see parts of a couple of other exhibits in the background. The huge mining company BHP bought this exhibit in its entirety.
