Photographer's Note
While our jobs have us in Auckland, we enjoy touring arround the country as much as possible. This shot however was taken not far from the city limits. The west coast is noted as a collection of beautiful beaches with amazing surf. The west coast also happen to represent some of the more dangerous swimming beaches in New Zealand, as the Tasman sea has some wicked rip tides. At this particular beach, there are a series of caves to explore. These caves are the site of Maori celebration, and meeting. Songs, dance, and shelter were all saught here.
In this image my partner sits at the edge of the cave and looks out to the sand dunes that you may be able to make out in the far distance.
I was particularly happy with the lighting and the colours of the brush field outside the cave.
Post Proc was a crop and leveling.

I like the way you have framed this shot. It shows a bit of creative design that makes a lot of this style of photography a little more interesting. Good work and I can see that you photography course from Lakehead has paid for you! lol
