Photographer's Note

These Boat Sheds are on the south west side of the Pauatahanui Inlet, Porirua harbour.
They are built to a higher standard than the boat sheds on the north western side of the Inlet and were at one time used as residential units until the Law was changed.

Rule 27 of the Regional Coastal Plan

The use of any boat shed for residential purposes and non-water based activities which do not require a coastal location is a Non-complying activity.
