Hello Marlene,
The shed and the tree form an odd couple, did they grow old together ? Well presented, a fine combination.

Hello Marlene,
Oh dear, what a building! Great photo. Having recently read An Angel at My Table, I imagine this could have been one of the places where Janet Frame spent her childhood. It looks really desolate, but the hut and the tree make fine silhouettes against the dark clouds.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Marlene,
this looks like an illustration for an old fairy-tale! in many ways thanks to the lone tree bent in such a curious way :)
Minimalistic - and symbolic for a philosophic kind of mind!
I like the composition very much :))
Warmest greetings from Moscow,
Elena
PS thank heavens it's not so hot and not sunny today!

Hi Marlene,
a fantastic impression of this weather beaten shed and a very beautiful and poetic composition where the pine tree also plays a great role. The light and the moody colors are also very pleasant. TFS!
Warm regards

ciao Marlene,
personalmente mi sarei spostato un pň piů a sinistra per avvicinare e legare di piů l'albero alla casa.
In questa inquadratura mi sembrano due elementi quasi distanti tra loro.
un saluto

Simply beautiful at first sight. Then, all sorts of felicities become apparent: the way the tree leans over to speak to the hut (do I see Red Ridinghood's wolf there?), the little peak on the right, the plateau that the hut stands on ... you're a genius, Marlene!

Bonjour Marlene,
Mes compliments.
Daniel.

Salam Marlene,

Hi Marlene.
Having lived for a long time in Cape Town, I have an empathy for those windblown trees. As a visiting friend once said "where I come from the trees grown straight up".
But this is more than just a shot of an interesting tree (and interesting old shed). It is beautifully composed and lit, with a wonderful use of light and dark spaces.
Well done and thanks, Iain

The old dilapidated cottage is a a super find - but having the old pine tree growing alongside is an added bonus.
Well seen and captured, and especially with the cloudy sky too
Janice
