Pacific ocean sunrise, a photo from Bay of Plenty, North Island

Photographer's Note

Hi this Photo was taken a few years ago with a simple point and shoot film camera while fishing, I have had the negative scanned to quite a high resolution (3090x2048) and would like some suggestions to improve it in photoshop. I plan to use it for a photo-book I am making for my coffee table and would like it looking as good as it could.

Interesting how the sun makes the horizon look concave. Usually a sea horizon is curved the opposite way showing the curvature of the earth.
Nice colours.

I love New Zealand, it's one of the most beautiful places in the world and I've never met nicer people anywhere. I too wish that photos I took there were taken with a better camara. Also, I was travelling by bus which really cramps the photo ops.

I live the colors in this photo Like Ejla, I thought your photo would benefit from cropping. For some reason we tend to center things in photos; yet our eye often finds thing off-center more attractive.
