EL CALAFATE DESDE LA CALLE ENTRE MI HOTEL Y EL CENTRO DE LA CIUDAD !
EL CALAFATE VISTA DA RUA ENTRE O MEU HOTEL E O CENTRO DA CIDADE !
EL CALAFATE SEEN FROM THE STREET BETWEEN MY HOTEL AND DOWNTOWN !

That day, I flew from BUENOS AIRES (Argentina's Capital City) to EL CALAFATE (in the Province of SANTA CRUZ). The flight was excellent, in a very clear day, so I could see many details during the traveling! When we arrived in the airport the sky was blue, with some white clouds and that gave me some enthusiasm about my journey in PATAGONIA!
After reaching my hotel and arranging everything, I walked out and went downtown, watching the scenery around and taking photos! Here's one of them, looking towards the city and the surrounding mountains, from the hills where my hotel was located!

EL CALAFATE - THE NAME OF THAT TOWN - IS A LOCAL BERRY!
"Berberis microphylla, common name Box-leaved Barberry[1] and Magellan Barberry, in Spanish Calafate, is an evergreen shrub, with simple, shiny box-like leaves. The Calafate is native to southern Argentina and Chile and is a symbol of Patagonia." Wikipedia

C'est trčs dépaysant . On y ressent vraiment l'atmosphčre de bout du monde . Intéressante vue avec la route qui nous fait entrer dans le décor .

Hello Neyvan,
Great view of this rough landscape with the small houses scattered around everywhere in the background. The low and warm light is beautiful. The road and the electricity wires are a nice lead-in.

A wonderful panorama view about the area.
The village and the mountains in background are pleasant to look at.

Bonjour Neyvan,

Le regard suit naturellement les méandres de cette route bordée de poteaux électriques des deux côtés trčs loin dans l'image vers les montagnes au loin. Une trčs belle lumičre en diagonale.

Ola Neyvan,

Here the meandering, s-shaped road adds fine lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective and vanishing point. The snow capped p[eak is well positioned at the vp. The shadows falling across the road from the right add interest. Tfs.

Olá, Neyvan!

Interessante essa montanha branca lá no fundo fazendo um lindo contraste com o resto da cena, mais escura! As cores e a nitidez estăo excelentes, e parece um lugar bastante seco também, năo? Belo trabalho!

I like a lot this picture from this village surrounded by a wonderful, barren landscape and a majestic snowy mountain as a fine backdrop. Fine perspective and good use of the road as a lead into the scene. Lovely work:) Thanks.

Bien prise cette perspective avec cette route droite qui nous conduit au bout du monde et dirige le regard vers les montagnes enneigées, intéressante lumičre latérale qui enjolive le paysage.

The landscape is bathing in a very beautiful light.
This town has a wonderful location and even seen from on a distance most of the houses have nice coloured facades.
The white mountain makes a splendid backdrop.

this is a wonderful road picture, showing us a remote part of the earth which I've always considered mysterious and fascinating. I like very much how our glance is led down the road and over so many clear details. The snow capped mountain in the background is an attractive focal point and destination. The light, the colours and the shadows create a very special atmosphere, this must be a special moment in the daily life of the town. Congratulations and thank you!
