Brasilia's Flamboyant: My version, a photo from Distrito Federal, Center-West

Photographer's Note

Some friends have published pictures of Brasilia's "Flamboyant", the beautiful tree very common there. Here my contribution to the theme, Brasília is full of nature colors indeed.

The building in the BG is the "Tribunal de Justiça do Distrito Federal", a court.

The Delonix regia is a species of flowering plant from the Fabaceae family, noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of flowers. Often grown as an ornamental tree and given the name Royal Poinciana or Flamboyant, it is also known as Krishnachura, Gulmohar, Peacock Flower, Flame of the Forest, Malinche, and Tabachine, and one of several named the Flame tree.

The tree's vivid red and bright green foliage make it an exceptionally striking sight.

ottime le verticali perfettamente in linea. Non vedo alcuna distorsione ;-))
Ottimo il soggetto inquadrato, avvalorato maggiormente dal POV ottimamente da te scelto.

Ottimo il contrasto tra i colori dell'edificio e il rosso delle foglie dell'albero.

Very good photo of the very nice modern architecture, for which, I believe, Brasilia is famous. You captured it here with a really fine sunlight. The red of the tree is a real eye-catcher here. Thanks for sharing.

Bela mistura de arquitectura de betăo, algo descolorida sem deixar de ser bonita e as cores super vivas da natureza. Essas árvores săo bem pitorescas, năo só pelas flores, mas tb.pelas copas.

lindo momento. Esse é muito famoso. Aqui vocę conseguiu uma ótima iluminaçăo e composiçăo do céu e edifícios do TJDF atrás.

Olá Paulo, é de facto uma combinaçăo espectacular. A árvore é lindíssima e com uma copa impressionante e em minha opiniăo năo há nada que embeleze mais a arquitectura do que vę-la bem acompanhada pelo mundo vegetal. Excelente composiçăo num perfeito equilíbrio de 3 faixas horizontais.

I did not notice the others pictures of it, bit this one has a fine light and vivid colors and is as sharp as it should be.

The wonderful tree in blossom contrasts so well with the clean lines in the architecture!

Linda captura este flamboyan de verde e vermelho em grande destaque tem uma largura de ramos enorme deve ter uns 8 metros , gostei muito do palácio de fundo com os reflexos , belo ponto de visăo , parabéns!!!
