ANALÂNDIA (II) - SUGAR CANE BY THE ROAD!

Last week, I went to the place I'd work with my own car, because I'd stay with my family in the city of ARAÇATUBA (where my sister lives and works and to where my parents would go to stay with us) - work and family meeting - good!

As I usually do, along the way, I visit some town or city I had never been to before! This time, it was ANALÂNDIA, a very small town, around 125km west from CAMPINAS!

Before arriving there, I took some pictures from the countryside! Whenever I saw something interesting, like this old tree, I'd stop, enjoy the view and take pictures!

In this one, harvested sugar cane by the road!
Brazil used to produce lots of sugar (and still does!), however, nowadays, the main product of sugar cane is ETHANOL! Most of our cars here are BIFUEL and that's good for the customers! For the environment, whatsoever, not that much! Lots of fields filled with them and, worse, in order to be harvested, they have to be burned! With the dry weather we're having, one can imagine the pollution problems that come up!

Hello Ney,
I particularly like the attractive tonal palette here with the contrasting colours that are spread across the from from top to bottom. The image has great depth though I would have preferred it to have been sharp throughout; the focus seems to have been on the sugar cane rather than the mid distance.

Olŕ Neyvan,

Un maginfique paysage et une image trčs bien composée. L'avant§pan ( riche en détails bien captés) et la composition en différents plans bien délimités donnent une trčs bonne profondeur ŕ l'iamge. De belles couleurs vives et naturelles également.

Olá Neyvan,
é o "retrato" da realidade de mercado em biocombustíveis no Brasil. Particularmente em cidades do interior do estado de Săo Paulo. Muitos cafezais foram derrubados para a cultura da cana. De qualquer forma, gostei muito vegetaçăo ao fundo, com um bonito destaque para o verde.

O interessante no interior de Săo Paulo é que para qualquer lugar que se olhe se vę trabalho, produçăo. Já pensou se esse país todo fosse igual a Săo Paulo? Linda fotografia.

Produçăo de cana em larga escala é o terror para o solo. Dia desses dei uma aula e mostrei a erosăo do solo causada pela plantaçăo da mesma. Por isso năo săo tăo a favor de biocombustível, apesar de poluir menos que gasolina durante a aqueima, esses derivam de plantas que săo produzidas na forma de monoculturas que acarretam desmatamento e destruiçăo de fauna/flora.
Gosto dos arbustos ao fundo e as montanhas tambpem. ňtimas cores, bem intensas.

Belos contrastes nas cores e uma linda paisagem ao fundo. A cana de açucar continua sendo a maior cultura no ramo do agronegócio( açucar, álcool e derivados) da Zona da Mata de Pernambuco.

Hi Ney,

Great use of colours - I particularly like the way you have got the redness of the earth in the foreground. Often that red earth looks beautiful to the eye, but does not really come out on film: you have got it perfectly.

what an interesting view, harvested sugarcane field and yr note is well noted. the bifuel is environmental friendly but sadly the traditional way of harvesting is still a contributor to air pollution. I like the vibrant colors, combination of red earth and green field in the bg. Effective pov with diagonal line Nice rich color and contrast. yr light management is excellent. la profundidad de la imagen en esta composición que nos muestra un bello paisaje verde, y el contraste con el color rojizo del campo recién cosechado, forman una imagen con un fuerte interés cromático.
Buena gestión de la luz y del color, en una foto muy atractiva.

linda vista. gostei do contraste entre o vermelho do chăo e os verdes da paisagem. o vale se abrindo para o horizonte ficou muito bonito. foto bem iluminada e cheia de detalhes. parabéns
