Ants, a photo from Santa Catarina, South

Photographer's Note

This is a sand dune near Lagoa do Conceiçao. Every day during summer, there is a little crowd on the top of the dune. They are waiting for their turn to go down the dune surfing on the sand. The picture was taken around 5PM and clouds were gathering after a hot day. Still the sand was burning hot.

Jolie photo. Par contre je couperais la partie du bas qui est plus sombre. La lumičre et les jeux d'ombre sont jolie sur la dune de sable.

Ah bon, ils ont donc l'équivalent de la dune de pyla par lŕ-bas... Ce qu j'adore évidemment, ce sont ces gens minuscules au sommet et sur la dune. La lumičre est également fantastique! Bravo!

Titre qui ve trčs bien avec la photo. Ils ont effectivement l'air de petites fourmis. Bon jeux de perspective et d'ombre. Personnelement je ne couperais pas le bas car cette personne en bas nous aide ŕ avoir une bonne idée de l'imensité de l'endroit. Bien vu et réalisé.

ce nuage en ajoute ŕ cette lumiere particulierement belle.
une grande netteté en particulier sur les fourmis.
une compo tres agréable entre ombres et lumieres.

Hi Philippe, I look maybe in Koksyde an the Belgium coast for the same, but your picture give very nice perspective and the sand dune with the small people on the background.

Paysage étonnant, bien composé.
Bravo pour les reliefs et les couleurs et je suis puôt pour ce format sans retouche dans le bas :))) car il me semble que la grande dune n'existe pas aussi bien sans le départ sable et herbe.

Gosto muito dessas cores, com as dunas como elemento forte. Gosto da perspectiva ampla com o intrigante povo ao fundo. Otimo trabalho Philippe.

I know these sand dunes... indeed... people walking resembles an ants line...Great shot... including persons gave dimension to it.
