BELL'S BEACH ! GOOD-BYE 2014 and HAPPY 2015 FOLKS !

After staying a bit in the BELL'S BEACH, I walked along the road to reach the PINTO'S BEACH, and from another higher spot and had this view of the place and it was hard not to photograph it!
Looking towards the southern west coast of the island, one can see it on the left and the continent (where the town of Săo Sebastiăo is located) on the right.

I was in ILHA BELA for four times: 2005 (first time), 2007, 2013 and 2014 ! I'll be back for sure, although there are so many other places I want to visit or revist!

Once more, visiting ILHA BELA! I arrived there on december 5th and, as the weather forecast had told us, it would be cloudy and rainy in the morning, but it would be better in the late afternoon and on during the whole week-end! Fortunately, it was precisely correct and the following days there we had such a wonderful time and I fell in love with this island again!

Ilha Bela has more than 40 beaches and 365 waterfalls! It's the third largest island in the brazilian coast and the one that has the highest peaks, ancient volcanoes: BAEPI (1,048 masl), PAPAGAIO (1,302 masl) and SĂO SEBASTIĂO (1,378 masl).
It's official name is ILHA DE SĂO SEBASTIĂO (SAN SEBASTIAN ISLAND).
It's got a STATE PARK where 3% of the remaining MATA ATLÂNTICA (Atlantic Woods) of the State of Săo Paulo is preserved!

Hello Ney,
this is such an attractive beach scene with everything that is needed to brighten the dull day that we have here in Devon.
The white boats bobbing on the sea are well placed to balance the rock in the FG,all of this being nicely framed by the tree and it`s branches.
With bright colours and sharp detail it appears to be an idyllic holiday location.

The beautiful beach scene is enhanced by the use of the tree and bushes to naturally frame it. Gorgeous colours and depth, and very sharp.

Hello Ney

A marvellous beach scene from Brazil with the purple bougainvillea adding a lively splash of color. Good density levels that have given excellent saturation and crisp clean whites and solid blacks. Nice repetition of the boats. The tree at left frames the scene well and I like the warm cold color contrast between the red rocks and blue sky. Happy 2015 to you!
