The main stone of the Campanha parish church was laid in 1787 by Father Bernardo da Silva Lobo. The church was dedicated to Santo Antônio de Lisboa (or also to Padua). Architect Francisco de Lima Cerqueira, from Săo Joăo del Rei, was responsible for designing and conducting the works.

Hello Ricardo,
The church is well built and it's nicely surrounded by palms and other trees, but it is the light of the sky that makes this photo quite special. The colours are amazing and you captured the remarkable blue hour light with a very good exposure. The angle of the photo seems to be the obvious choice.

Hello Ricardo,

Astonishing post sunset colours in the sky with good sharpness, lighting and saturation. The 2 red tower spires add symmetry. Good warm cold colour contrasts too. Tfs!

I like the slight distortion from the lens, the right tower seems to be leaning backwards a little, as if its stretching and yawning :) lovely composition, which is always your strength. the pink and purple colors are so attractive too.

You got a gorgeous sky as a background for your picture. Interesting church with two square towers nicely decorated. If I am not mistaken in front of the church there is a statue of Saint John Paul II.
