Spring Shout, a photo from Parana, South

Photographer's Note

Well, here we are..back to the countryside! And again in southern Brazil, where I like to enjoy most of the weekends, 50km from the town of Curitiba.
"Campos Gerais" is really a wonderful region, with lots of beautiful landscapes for those who like it. Here is a typical spring scenery from Tamanduá, a region in the district of Balsa Nova. There is no village in Tamanduá, but just little and medium farms plus one of the oldest church of the State of Paraná.
We are now in the beginning of the season of fast rains. Hot sunny days, with rains at the late afternoon! With the summer knocking on the door, its always good to keep our cameras, specially when the late afternoon shows its beautiful lights.
I did a half & half framing, with the same space to the sky and to the yellow fields, where will be some agriculture of soybean in a few days..

Amazing capture. Great POV. I love the sharpness and colors. Was this taken before raining? The lighting is excellent.

Waw....what a great shot.Fascinating golden yellow colour.The dark sky is a great contrast to the otherwise vivid and colourful rest of the photo.The landscape looks very attractive and very inviting as well.Lovely brightness and colour saturation.Great POV and DOF with the field meeting the sky at the far distant horizon.Kudos,

Amazingly beautiful contrast of the green with the BG colours including the sky...a simple compo. but brought alive by the wonderful sunbathed colours. Well seen & captured

your shot is rich in colour and contrast without being over saturated..the blue and yellow go well
i got the impression it might have been a pola shot..
the foreground is very sharp and so are the cloud edges and the tree in the right hand 1/3 really connects and fills out the vista with a good mid distance object
i will be getting some soy beans soon for dinner

Another beautiful scene with nice vibrant colours emphasized by the wonderful light falling onto them. The moody cloud is very impressive - conflicting weather conditions in the same photo - impressive.

Aqui no Rio tem chovido bastante, nem tenho coragem de ir na rua tirar fotos. Essa ficou deslumbrante, ótimas cores e uma bela vista dos campos do sul.

Those deep saturated colours with strong contrast is become a kind of trademark from you and that is something i really like. Those yellow/green colours against the grey/blue is truly wonderful composed and exposed...excellent work..!!!

A spectacle of colors to rival the fall here.

What pretty countryside. It is really nice how the sun is shining on the Soybean crop and the dark cloud in the sky looks so dramatic. The trees in the distance add interest to the photo also. Nice composition. Thank you for sharing.

Que belissima luz que vc captou aqui, Zeca. As cores da agua na boca e as nuvens escuras e carregadas dao um exclente contraste ao verde e amarelo das plantas nos Campos Gerais.

Hi Jose - Ok, the post processing is a bit evident, but who cares, the contrasts are a knockout, I think the hills in the distance should have been darkened as well, to make them black and to avoid a visible border between them and the sky.
