Photographer's Note

Hello :)
Yesterday afternoon Carmem and I made quick a break in our studies to meet at the Latin America Memorial here in Săo Paulo, a project by Oscar Niemeyer.

The sun was setting down but that place is so photogenic we came back with a bunch of images we will share with you. btw, imo the place is more beautiful in photos...

In the WS, a broader view of the gallery entrance door.

Hi Isabel.
Una fotografía muy bonita. Me gustan mucho los reflejos que has captado del edificio en un lado y la carretera elevada en el otro. He visto el WS y también me gusta mucho. Lo único achacable es el grano que es un poco notorio. De todos modos es un buen disparo. Felicidades y recuerdos desde Espańa.

This is really something, back to your forte, very clever paring the two reflections in a similar configurations, something reminiscent of Dali here (Matamorphosis of Narcisus, see what I mean).

Fantastica foto, Isabel. Digna de ser mostrada. As cores pasteis estao perfeitas e a composicao da uma certa quebra cabeca ate se entender o jogo de reflexos e as paredes com a escrita Galeria e Saida. Grande sensibilidade para fotografia urbana! Da proxima vez "nois vai" ficar em SP para tirar fotos na cidade. Nada de negocio de folha e floresta.
Eu descobri a galeria da Carmem ontem. Que espetaculo. Fiquei grudadao nas fotos dela. Legal que vc se encontraram!

INteressante esssa foto, os adesivos estăo nos locais corretos, parece que foram colados lá só para essa foto ou uma ediçăo em PS! Gostei dos reflexos também, dificeius de compreender mas tem alguma lógica com a foto em geral!

I love the abstraction you reach in this photo Isabel, kind of slightly cubist composition, with the light of the sunset giving a nice texture to the photo. A green is a pleausure for me in this case. Take care.

Ola Isabel, I love the way you "deconstruct" the Memorial here! The tonality fits it very well and you used the plate glass structure very cleverly. And of course, the outdoor type rocks here. Very nice!

A beautiful, classic reflection shot from someone with a superior eye. There is a balance here that is exquisite as well as the olden Hour tones throughout.

in the reflections, the building almost became historical ruins :) or science fictive..I agree they are (even more than real) beautiful in the reflections..

Hello again Isabel. Some wonderful mellow evening colours in the reflection, and the refleced structures look interesting in their own right. The distorted motorway arch looks almost outrageously big in its split reflection. I like the slanted doorway and the fact that the word 'Galeria' is the sharpest part of the shot.

Oi Isabel!
Estou um pouco desatualizado com a sua galeria e é hora de começar a ficar em dia! Esta composiçăo de reflexos aqui é ótima. Só mesmo bons olhos de artista para enxergar a beleza do grafismo e dos inúmeros sinais nestes vidros. Tem um pouco de noise na foto, mas isso só atrapalharia uma ampliaçăo em papel. Gostei bastante!

Hi Isabel! Very good photo with reflection effects. I like that. The colors and the distortion of the forms. By looking at the picture I have the sensation that the day was hot! Interesting tilted lines also. The words Galeria and SAIDA add an artistic sense to the compo. Very well done!!!
