In the main town entrance, the welcome tree.

The delonix regia is a species of flowering plant from the Fabaceae family, noted for its fern-like leaves and flamboyant display of flowers. Often grown as an ornamental tree and given the name Royal Poinciana or Flamboyant, it is also known as Krishnachura, Gulmohar, Peacock Flower, Flame of the Forest, Malinche, and Tabachine, and one of several named the Flame tree.

The tree's vivid red and bright green foliage make it an exceptionally striking sight.

Espectacular, Paulo. Năo é a 1Ş nem há-de ser a última foto destas árvores lindíssimas no TE. Curioso surprender pela horizontalidade e năo pela verticalidade como é habitual numa árvore. A cor avermelhada é super atraente. Gostei de ver os ciclistas do lado direito também. Bonita foto.

bonito mesmo esse Flamboyant, como todos, mas gostei dos detalhes dessa foto, como por exemplos os açougues e a carreta de leite, sinal de ser uma regiăo de criaçăo de gados e consequentemente uma regiăo de churrasco bom, hehe!

os flamboyants săo mesmo árvores de grande impacto visual quando floridos. Gostei muito da luz, cores e nitidez desta sua vista urbana com bom pov que enquadra bem a árvore e o seu valor na paisagem.

Hi Paulo,
an exciting and superbs glow of the delonix. Nice canopy of red in such a surrounding. Well contrasted with soft blue sky and superbs composition in the urban style shot.
In my country they call it Flame of the Forest.
It is flaming red noe.

Aqui aonde eu vivo também já estăo a ficar todas cheias de flores vermelhas. O máximo será dentro de duas ou tręs semanas. Tenho andado ŕ procura de um PdV que năo tenha cabos (ou muitos cabos) ŕ volta para tirar uma foto. Mas năo é fácil!
Gosot da tua imagem, pela sua composiçăo e pelos variadíssimos elementos que incluíste. Neste elementos, acho piada ao termo "açougue". Para nós portugueses, é uma palavra antiga que já năo usamos. A um açougue nós chamamos talho.

Só o Flamboyant já vale a fotografia, mas toda a sua qualidade técnica está ótima e pequenos detalhes que poderiam ter estragado a imagem, no fim acabam a ajudá-la, pois dăo a exata dimensăo dessa grandiosa árvore - como é o caso do caminhăo que está atrás dela!

Parece que o flamboyant deu-se muito bem em Goiás. A galeria está com belos exemplares, como este aqui - năo há carro, caminhăo, placa ou publicidade que consiga perturbar a beleza dele, que reina na composiçăo da imagem e năo deixa nada distrair nossa atençăo.
