It was a PERSONAL VICTORY to reach the top of that VOLCANO! It was NOT easy, but I was pretty in shape those days (jogging for 10km almost everyday back in Brazil) and faced boldly that climbing experience (main problems: hurting feet, heels, toes, ankles, knees)!
The weather would change many times during the day! It had started bright and clear, but we faced many cloudy periods while going up! When we reached the CRATER, it was sort of cloudy, cold (but not too cold) and EXTREMELY WINDY!
We were NOT supposed to stay there LONG, but we would have had the chance to see the abyssal hole and the BOILING LAVA LAKE if the weather conditions were different... MILDER! Suddenly the direction of the wind would change and we would be choked by the poisonous gases!
Extreme act! Quite fun! Lots of fun, I mean!!!
The way down would be much easier, sliding on our own buts!!!

Hi Ney,
congratulations. It sounds like you had a lot of fun there. The composition here is very good. What the photos lack is a bot more clarity so we could enjoy a better view -but it is not your fault. In any case the view is very impressive and the slightly blurred background leaves a lot to our imagination.

A picture that tells a story. The brightly dressed adventurers stand out beautifully against the purplish hues of the landscape in the background. Good use of depth of field and excellent sharpness where needed. Your commentary complements the image perfectly, a fine contribution to the annals of TE.

Olá Neyvan,
bem interessante esse tipo de foto, e as cores das vestimentas chamam a atençăo. Uma pena a resoluçăo pequena, e impressionante a câmera ainda funcionar no frio, no alto do pico da bandeira muitas deixaram de funcionar por causa do frio.

Hello Nyevan, what we see in the photo is the mouth of the crater? It seems to be a huge precipice and makes me feel dizzy. Very impressive and difficult photo against the strong wind. Congratulations, Tolga

in spite of the mist,this is a very nice picture,the vivid colors make a splendid contrast ith the background!I love the note,too,this is funny,and that remind me when I have climbed on a volcano in Bali!

quando eu estava lá o vulcăo fumaceava e havia letreiros e sinaleiros avisando como ele estava se comportando e o que fazer caso ele ficasse malvado. muito boa a sua foto, o abismo da cratera está bem evidente e a colocaçăo das pessoas no primeiro plano foii uma boa ideia

Hello,

Practicing a lot mountaineering, I was attracted by this photo sharing the mood of this activity.
I like the composition with this blue man entering inside the picture. This kind of composition is difficult to succeed, but it works here.
