Photographer's Note

Today I complete 10 years on TE and I take the opportunity to show a picture taken with my new camera I bought in Paraguay, a Canon EOS REBEL T3.

In the picture, the Falls of Monday River, a tributary of Paraná River, near the Iguaçu Falls. Back to the rainy season, I hope there is still a lot of water to flow here...

Hello Alexandre,

Congratulations on this superb photo and your 10th Anniversary as a Trekkie. The combination of the slow shutter speed that made give the water a vapor-like medium, the colors, and the mist, this is an extremely successful photo, one worthy of the occasion.

My congratulations for 10 years on TE. Happy TE Birthhday. marvelous shot of this waterfall Is it somewhere near Iguazu? And was it cheaper to buy camera in Paraguay? I will be in Foz de Iguazu in January and I am considering going also to Paraguay on the other side of Parana. excellent long exposure photo. I can't do it, I am envious.

as quedas do Monday săo uma espécie de iguaçú paraguaio. gostei muito da foto com a textura da cabeça das quadas e o contraste de cores.
a minha cÂmera foi comprada em ciudad del leste também,

Me gusta el uso de la velocidad lenta en tu captura, congelaste el agua y queda algo original y creativo
Seguro que es seguro comprar camaras en Ciudad del Este?
Solo estuve una vez y me perseguia un nińo que me ofrecia unos 20 perfumes franceses por 20 dolares

Hello Alexandre,

Congratulations on your 10 years on TE! I like the motion blur of the water which is also symbolic of the time slipping by. The mist rising up from the plunge pool at left adds interest. The reddish brown colour of the water contrasts well against the blue grey mist. Tfs!

In catching up on your gallery, I just had to stop on this one to congratulate you on the 10 year anniversary! :) A gorgeous shot to mark the occasion, and of course, new camera too. :) With just a long enough exposure setting, the smooth flow of water puts the image into motion. The long exposure had a great effect on the flowing water. A well chosen POV. The steam from the waterfall adds drama to the scene. Very nice work:) TFS.
