Photographer's Note

I felt nostalgic today. Suddenly when checking my pics I remembered when I was a kid, and as everyone I guess, I had a best friend.

We were owners of the world, as it was our belief.
Along the years, we shared too many things, too many discoveries and experiences.

We had unbelievable plans and dreams. Nothing was impossible, I do not remember we knew the meaning of that word...

We also had fights, some of them serious, some not.

I can not remember now, when was the last time we saw each other, or how we stopped being "the best friends in the world".

But it happened.
Somehow life separated us as we grew old.
We gave up to new priorities, to new challenges and projects.

I think it was a process, it really does not matter how.

This story may seem known to you, doesn`t it?

Ps.: I dedicate this to my childhood best friend. My comrade.
I cropped, and made the usual adjustments. Also I added graininess.

"The grass was greener
The light was brighter
The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
With friends surrounded
The dawn mist glowing
The water flowing
The endless river"
