Sloping tree, a photo from Ancash, North

Photographer's Note

This orange colored slope vista was captured while camping in the Huishcash (pronounced Wishcash)camp, on the first day of the less known Alpamayo short 6 day trek. This magnificent and hardorous trek took us across several mountain passes and in proximity to the famed Alpamayo peak, which pictures of it you will surely see in my next posts.
This picture was taken an hour after a rain shower mixed with hail hit us hard when a magnificent cloud shrouded sunset pop out just over the Cordillera Negra peaks. The POV here is facing north, with the Andes ridge peaks in the FG.

Trčs belle image
Avec des couleurs trčs chaudes.
J'aime beaucoup aussi les différents plans des montagnes ŕ l'horizon dont la couleur s'estompen peu ŕ peu.
Belle composition.
Peut-ętreun cadrage un peu plus serré (moins de nuage)
Bon travail de toute façon !

hi chen, there is something exceptional in this photo, maybe the intensive brown/rusty colour of that hairy grass on the slope? i adore the simplicity and beauty of this picture; so great!

Hi! Chen,
I picked this image as my favourite of your recent posts. It has a very painterly look about it and the converging lines of sky and hill frame the trees so well. In viewing all your most recent posts I spotted a common element that distracted me. You appear to place the main actors in a central position a lot of the time. (IMO) e.g Wild Pond,Dune,Behind Bars,ect. Just something that I noticed as I went through them. At times I have to step back from the excitement of the moment and take a second look.
