Puertochuelo de Llanganuco is a high mountain pass (4700 MASL) that is sorrounded by some of the beautiful peaks in the Cordillera Blanca and dominates the Llanganuco valley. One way of enjoing the scenery is to bike down the pass through numerous mountain bends, as you can see in this pic, till you reach a little town named Yungay, some 45 km south of the pass. It was a marvelous ride, with great photo-ops. In the background, by the way, you can see on the right, Chacraraju ridge and on the left, the Pisco ridge.
PS - If I had a proper software here in South America (i.e. PS CS), I would have darken the sky a bit. You are most welcome to do so, as it would improve the picture imensly!
