Wow, sparks look marvellous! The camera captured a glance that human eye cannot perceive. To freeze sparks to that extent you should use very high shutter speed, so 1/30 seems irreal!

Good work (for you and this man). The sparkles are fantastic and lead to the man portrait. Small depth of field, (so a high speed, not 1/30s) so the background is blurred.
