Imobilul Cantacuzino, buit in 1934 by Marcel Locar.

This building faced a typical problem that many architects have to cope with: how to design a corner building with one side facing a crowded avenue and the other a side street. Here Marcel Locar solved the problem by varying heights of the building, connected by a quarter cylinder covered with glass and housing the five story staircase. Everything is still original here, including the Art Déco entrance door. Sorry for the cables and the billboard, but they are impossible to avoid.
