Yesterday was my last day of fly fishing on the local reservoir since today the season closes. Just had to have a picture of the lucky boat (no 23) which provided 3 x 2lb rainbow trout.
Image has been sharpened on the edges and cropped using PSP.

Nice composition, Malcolm. I like the intersecting lines of the boats as well as the overall monochromatic look punctuated by the colors of the motors. Nice job on the trout, too!

Funny reason for you shot! :-)
I find the composition well imagined with the different diagonals of the boats. Still the image is too bland. Some more sharpenning would have been nice.
Using a BW version with high contrast would also enhance the shapes and geometry.
