Strong wind (II), a photo from Noord-Holland, South

Photographer's Note

Slightly more dramatic compared to the previous ones, because the sky is now darker.
There is a good wave in the horizontal picture in workshop, but I think this one is slightly more dramatic, because it was taken when the ship was going down: as a consequence, the horizon is now slightly higher than the bow.... Of course in both pictures the rear deck is completly wet (this includes us, sitting there).

Je croyais que la mer était plus calme deux heures plus tard mais en lisant ta note je vois que les conditions sont toujours difficiles. La composition est intéressante et bon rendu des couleurs sous les nuages.
Félicitations!... en espérant que l'aventure se termine bien,

you are trying to capture what cannot be captured: the wind!
ummmm.... however beautiful the photo is we are always missing the most important thing... (:-
Yet I am one like you who likes to try...
by the way, I don't like to be downwind when the boat is tilted... (:- (I guess the upwind side was pretty wet, wasn't it?) - I like the light, it gives a fine contrast and clarity.
...the journey goes on...
