Photographer's Note
This historical cabin was built by John Pierce Cunningham in 1890 when he and his wife settled in the grassy meadows near Spread Creek. His cattle ranch business was successful making him a prominent figure of the region. The sod-roofed cabin on the original homestead still stands as a reminder of early years.
I took this photo early morning to capture the golden glow of light on the front of the cabin.

Hello Gary,
Well composed and good color tone!
It's interesting long and slender wooden cabin standing in meadow, and I feel the old exploring the West from this photo. And, I like the contrast between the meadow and steep canyon of background as well as this historical cabin.

Hallo Gary!
An impressive sight! This must be a special place - this little cabin in these great surroundings. I like especially the natural colours in your picture. These a bit hazy mountains in background create a wonderful depth into the scenery. A worth-seeing picture!
In combination with your note a contribution really in terms of TE!
Greetings from Germany - and have a nice weekend!
