Photographer's Note

It's so beautiful when trees start preparing for the winter. The diminishing daylight hours and falling temperatures activate the natural behavior on trees. Losing leafs will make them more resistant to the winter. Well, not on all kinds of trees. Pine trees always keep their green all over the year. The green pigment in leaves is chlorophyll. When the winter is approaching these trees stop producing chlorophyll and the result is beautiful reds, yellows and brown on leafs that will change color until they fall of the tree.
