Bangkok's Klong Toey wet market is the place to cover your cooking needs, but you should be early. The pigs are slaughtered before sunrise, so better buy pork meat early because the weather in Bangkok is hot. The pork butchers do not use ice or have a fridge to keep the meat cold. Some of them know how to cut the meat, others are not so well versed. Just look a bit, before you order meat, then you know if they can handle it properly. It's fun to shop here or in any other wet market in Bangkok as well as Thailand
