Photographer's Note

I was photographing a man who just came back with a big fish among his morning catch when I heard giggles behind a big post of a boathouse. I saw these two girls. I focused their camera to them. They ran away. I coaxed them to stay where they were. I continued photographing the man. When I looked at at the direction of the girls again, I saw them back to where they were. And this time, they didn't run away when I turned my camera to them. Timid? Your answer is as good as mine.

No, they seem fairly natural and only slightly aware of their own charm. In a few years they will become terribly self-conscious and much more difficult to get to pose naturally. But of course, it also depends on the photgrapher. And you seem to have the knack. This shot is a real gem, well lit and composed.

They do not look very timid to me. The second girl looks somewhat irreal as one can only see the head sticking out with nothing else. the colors are wonderful, with exactly the right saturation. The blurred colors of the background fit very well; Superb Postprocesing Manuel.

Excellent lighting and composition. Good DOF.

However, the proportion of height and width does not do justice to this photo. Try increasing the canvass size, especially the width and leaving a large white margin on the width.

Beautiful photo as ever from you, Manny, but do I detect some climsy cloning work on the lefthand edge, half way up? Where there are two white/black bands with a suspicious vertical edge on them? If it's not a cloning error, then it sure looks like one and should have been cloned out anyway!!!! :-)
