‘Stockholm - Relax’

The picture is taken in Stadshusparken, a small park between the Stadshuset (Stockholm City Hall) and Lake Mälaren's shore.

People on the benches relax with their backs to the city hall enjoying the view of the lake and the small islet Riddarholmen.

On Riddarholmen (the Knight’s Islet) on the right you see the tower of the church Riddarholmskyrkan.
In the middle of the picture there’s the Tower of Birger Jarl and partly the Norstedt Building.
On the most eastern point of Stadshusparken you find the remarkable 20 m. pillar with on top a statue of Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson (a Swedish rebel leader and later statesman, 1390-1436).
