Photographer's Note

"Massive statues are implanted at the base of the four pillars of the dome, and St. Cyril methodically is ransacking demon with his crosier. All under the gaze of an almost touched angel ... On top of these same pillars, the four figures of virtue are watching over us: Wisdom, Righteousness, Moderation and Bravery. And still higher in the dome, eight other virtues are expressed. Finally, the exaltation of the Holy Trinity escapes into the sky of the great cupola. The copper and golden statue of saint Nicolas grabbed the high altar, together with those of St. Ignatius Loyola fighting the heresy, of St. Francis Xaversky converting a pagan. The group is completed with stucco figures of St. Wenceslas and St. Vitus. Universe of curves, where the balance capsizes, but where nothing moves."
