Summer Refectory of the Lubiaz Abbey.
Lubiąż (Leubus) Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in Lubiąż, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of southwestern Poland. The abbey, established in 1175, is one of the largest Christian architectural complexes in the world.(See my previous post)
Large parts of the Abbey are in need of renovation though the roof of the main buildings already have been saved and reconstructed and the Lubiaz Foundation has renovated 2 halls.
From among 300 rooms, the following are distinguished by their glorious splendor: the Dukes Hall, The Abbots Dining Room, the Library and the Summer Refectory. Michael Willmann, Silesias most distinguished baroque painter, produced works for the monastery until his death in 1706. His ashes rest in the vault of the church in Lubiaz. The artist created the décor of the Summer Refectory.

what an amazing place, so beautiful and captured brilliantly. Love the light and the reflections on the floor are just stunning and add such an atmosphere. Executed and presented perfectly. Love it!
