The Pushkar festival is one of the biggest festivals in Rajasthan. In the stadion you have a lot of groups of peoples. One of them was a group of ~ 10 older honorable men with very beautiful beards. Two of them here on the foto.

A funny and impressive shot, Uwe! The men are wonderfully serious, and their bright clothes and intense expressions create a very interesting mood in the frame. Well captured.

Grossartige Bilder in deine galerie. Ich habe früher viele Bilder von Menschen gemacht besonders in Indien. Ich war in Pushkar vor drei Jahren, komischer Weise war kein Wasser in dem See drin. Dieses Bild gefällt mir besonders gut. Der gesichts Ausdruck von den beiden ist völlig verschieden.

Hello Uwe,
I see from your images that you are interested in people. This is a really great portrait documentation of two very strong men. The one in the front appears to be the most important; your image tells me that he is very self confident and powerful. It would be interesting to know the meanings of the markings on their foreheads.
