Photographer's Note

The University of Wroclaw is the oldest of universities in the city. The main building is a magnificent baroque building, founded by the Jesuits in 1670.
A part of the building was converted into the University Museum with the representative hall Aula Leopoldina and the music hall Oratorium Marianum.
Aula Leopoldina (Auditorium Academicum) is the most representative and most visited room in the building of the University. The composition of works of art placed in the Aula Leopoldina is considered an excellent logical and artistic unity. The interior is decorated with statues of three emperors, benefactors of the university, a painting on the roof in praise of God's wisdom and the fruit of this first - the wisdom of the earth, and portraits of famous men and scholars included in the jambs. Aula Leopoldina is now mainly used as part of a university museum, as well as a place to circumvent the major college events (such as matriculation).
