Photographer's Note

Shot this just off Donabate Strand in North Co. Dublin, Ireland. The sun had been up approx. 20mins and was pretty strong. These grommets (is that what they're called?) really attracted me and I tried various angles and compositions, finally settling on this one. I purposely used my Cokin Filters instead of the Lee system as I knew they'd add a little colour to the very strong sunlight.

Canon 60D
Sigma 10-20
1sec @ f18
Two Cokin ND Grads 3 Stop and a 1 Stop.
Processed RAW and then in PSE10 desaturated the magenta colour case (caused by the Cokin's) but in this case I think the colour case has added to the photo. Levels adjustment and sharpened.
