Hello Bob, good to see you posting here.
You managed an excellent point of view; I guess that you crouched down low?
I like the way that you have used the rows of cut straw as a lead in line.
The perfect day for a rural scene, especially with that sky.
Where were you exactly when you took this shot? I am trying to work out which hills are in the distance.

Hello Bob

Yellow tones dominate, lots of room at the bottom half of the shot, and the sky is a bit grainy. Heavy focus on that one big bale in the front and even on the ground below it, not that much depth to the shot. And it all adds up. This is a terrific shot, if you ask me.

Hi Bob,

I have been observing these bales as I travelled, and this is certainly the best shot I have come across. Very well composed with interesting details in the foreground and background. The clouds - they are simply amazing !!
