Photographer's Note

Hello Serge,
A strange set of sculptures. I like the point of view with the line of figures drawing the viewer down to the shoreline and creating an interesting perspective. I like the soft lights and pastel tones. Excellent rendering of the textural detail.

Salut, Serge,
It reminds me the photos from the Easter Island and his statues. Good presentation of the art work, good decoration for this part of the beach. Funny title too.
Best wishes,

Interesting sculptures in an original setting. The photo is very good, with fine light and a nice composition, but I think seeing this with your own eyes must be quite an experience.

Bonjour Serge,

Hello Serge
Most unusual shot of a very unusual set of sculptures. Or at least it would be unusual if I hadn't seen this before taken by Diane Vaillancourt. I wonder if you know her on TE and/or have seen this from her before. They're both great shots by the way!

Salut Serge,

Saluti

Hello Serge,
Nice repetition of the enigmatic sculptures. Well framed and composed with the horizon line well positioned above the central horizontal line. The dark bg beachrock (or coffee rock as its called in Australia) adds graphism. Good sharpness and excellent colour and saturation. Excellent tonal and textural detail in the statues. Tfs!

Hello Serge - It was only when I opened up the TN that I saw what this was about. Initially I had thought it was a series of beach groins and was fascinated to see that the groins are in fact sculptures. The scene has quite a sinister look to it! A most unusual post.
Warm regards

Hi Serge!
That's a very original artwork that deserves to be seen. I can imagine there are much more visitors there during the low tide, when they are more visible. I like these sculptures, they all seem to have different expressions. Nice shot!
