Hello Jasmis,
A great composition, however simple. The B&W with strong contrasts, and the not so perfectly beautiful people, make me think of a Polish or Czech movie from decades ago.
Best wishes

Bonjour Ghost,
Il y a quelque chose de trčs vintage dans cette photo, au niveau du noir et blanc trčs contrasté et de la pose des gens qui est trčs ancienne comme forme.
Amicalement

Hello Jasmis
Great shot! A crop I think, and beautifully done. Maybe the contrast is a little heavy; I'm not super-keen on the strong vignette, but who cares? The photograph absolutely transcends these petty criticisms. I love the combination of people facing the camera and turning their backs. I love the studious lack of glamour. I love the title, for a photograph where no seaside is visible. Although it's a monochrome image, I'm nevertheless reminded strongly of the early work of Martin Parr, whom I'm sure you're familiar with.
It's in my favourites.
Regards
Will

Hi Jan
Vintage image with an every day scene with the every day people we can meet after the holidays. Some prefer to look at the sea, the other just sit to chat
My best regards

A terrific observation, Jan. Strong bl/w contrast, a noisy and "heavy" shot filled with great character.
Thanks for posting.
Benny
