Photographer's Note

There is strict code that male are not allow to visit the female resident area even if they are blood relatives e.g. brother and sister or father and daughter. They have to meet outside the island.rnrnFor those who just join this is brief introductionrnrnTibetans refer to Buddhist nuns as juemu, as they believe the nuns belong to the upper class of Tibetan women.rnrnAs the temple is isolated, the nuns' living conditions are not very good. Nevertheless, the women remain committed to practicing Buddhism. More than 10,000 juemu currently study Buddhism in the temple. The nuns do not live in the temple. But they live in the living area within the Island. HOWEVER, THIS BROTHER AND SISTER PAIR ARE MEETING OUTSIDE THE LIVING QUARTERS THEY ARE IN THE PUBLIC AREA OF THE TEMPLE. I AM TRYING TO USE NIK SILVER FLEX PRO ANTIQUE PROGRAM TO MAKE THE PHOTO LOOK OLD. AS THE SURROUNDING ENVIRONMENT IS DIRTY AND DUSTY. THE ONLY THING WHICH GIVE OUT THE AGE OF THIS PHOTO IS THE MODERN SUNGLASS THAT THE NUN IS WEARING
