Photographer's Note
I really do not like to upload photos when I have run out of things to say about a location, but since I like arches so much, I will squeeze this other interior photo in.
I might as well talk about the name of this mosque, which is not unique. The Ottoman Turkish is Valide-i Cedid Camii, in today’s Turkish it is Yeni Valide Camii and literally translated, it means New Mother Mosque. The reason I have been translating it as New [Queen] Mother Mosque is that queen mother is implied, the name should really be Yeni Valide Sultan Camii to literally mean New Queen Mother Mosque. To make matters worse, there are two ”Valide-i Cedid Camii“s in Istanbul. One is this mosque in Üsküdar, the other one is in Eminönü, near the Egyptian Spice Bazaar. That one is about a century older than this one and is dedicated to Sultan Mehmet III’s mother. However, Istanbullus have shortened both of these Yeni Valide Camiis in a creative way to distinguish between the two. The mosque in Eminönü is referred to as Yeni Cami (dropping the noun Valide from the official name) and this one is referred to as Valide Camii (dropping the adjective Yeni).

Hello Murat
I suppose this picture is beautiful and interesting enough to be posted even without note, but you managed to give some interesting info about the name. The man at the end of the corridor is also an intriguing detail.
Excellent work, Have a nice day. Groet Rob

Hello Murat,
The arches and the columns supporting them are beautiful and once again their silvery grey tones go really well together with the wonderfully red carpet. The perspective down the columns is appealing too here.

Gunaydin Murat,
Stunning red carpet made a fine contrast to the mostly grey pillars, arches and walls, the chandelirs and adorned ceiling.
Nice photo indoor's, light management and clarity well rendered.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hi Murat
Excellent portrayal of interior architecture even in more shadowed parts and I do like the light & shades and overall tone. A tricky shot to expose uniformly but handled expertly with a very satisfying outcome. Superb pov and perspective with the striking red being an immediate attention grabber. Congrats
PS: Have no ideas to your query, focus was on her vital facial feature as main interest - thus the rest is insignificant, thks hope that clarifies.
Best wishes

Hi Murat,
And this shot reminds me of the Carsi Cami Trabzon Mosque in the bazaar area. Good sharpness and linear perspective that leads the eye deep into the image towards the back. Tfs!

Hello Murat,
The arches are nice, but the red carpet is so eye-catching. Is red chosen for a specific reason? The interior of this mosque is very impressive and worth another photo. It's nice to have someone in the scene in an inconspicuous spot.
