Photographer's Note
I was taking photos of a silhouetted architectural detail when the sparrow decided to take off resulting in this image. The building is one of many in Durbar Square in Bhaktapur. I'm not sure which one and if it is still there.
In WS a couple of detail shots taken in 2016, after the earthquake. Just another proof that there is still a lot to see in Kathmandu Valley.

Hello Kasia,
The nice photo of the architectural details became a beautiful photo when the bird took off during the snap of your camera. It spreads its wings so perfectly that we can see every little detail. As for the rest of the photo, the one you intended to take, I like the use of the dof to show us the stupa in the background nicely blurred, while the nearest details are perfectly sharp. I like the light on the edge of the details to the right. The wood carvings in the workshop are beautiful proofs of the old craftsmen's skill.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Kasia,
Beautiful minimalist photo with symbolism. I had to add it to may favourites. :)

CZesc Kasiu
pozdrawiam
Piotr

Hi Kasia
Your split second hi shutter was so precise resulting in this slight motion blur which adds to the overall drama. Excellent quality and a lot of luck! but the quality makes me appreciate this. Well anticipated, Congrats
Tx to your additional pics.
Best wishes

Hi Kasia
this is one of those shots where the longer I look at it the more and more i like it. the birds wings are the main highlight for me, its sort of like viewing an X-Ray haha
nice to have the classic architecture in the bg too.
If i ever fly to nepal, i'll certainly be contacting you for advice haha. whats the best city to fly into? I take it Kathmandu?

Pozdrawiam serdecznie
