Where the colour of mountains both is and is not.
The dwellings of men seem floating along
On ripples of the distant sky --
These beautiful days here in Xiangyang (read Vang Vieng)
Make drunken my old mountain heart!

This is a view from a cave (Tham Chang) in Vang Vieng.
Vang Vieng is a small town surrounded by mountains and rivers as you can see..

Wow! Great landscape! I would love to go to this part of the world! And photos like this just make me want it more and more! Great composition and colors. The sky gives something to the photo as well... Well done!

A pretty village beautifully recorded! You did a nice job Skye! The cloud formations and lush vegetations are typical of the Far East. The mountains though have a look of their own. TFS.

I wonder if this is the same bridge of previous post (Crossing). Anyway is very nice landscape with beautiful colours, stormy sky and reflections in the river. And three monks in orange on the path (in the lower part of the photo) are just adding some colour more. This is very nice.

Great shot! It seems to go back forever thanks to the movement of the river which leads the eye to the receding mountains. The high horizon keeps the mountains very powerful but also emphasizes the thown in the foreground. Nice work!
