Photographer's Note
This is the Boh Tea Plantation near Tanah Rata, in the Cameron Highlands, peninsula Malaysia. I really like drinking tea, and it was very interesting seeing where it comes from. These are the tea bushes. They are harvested with a hand-held mechanical cutter with a petrol driven motor. This whole area is very scenic.
I managed to get a guy wire for a telegraph pole in the RHS of the photo, I've Photoshopped that out, otherwise the photo is as scanned from the negative.

Nice picture. I like very much that mosaic pattern we can see in the middle plan. I made a little Ws with your photo. Hope you like it ..

Great clarity in this. And a well composed shot too. The detail is remarkable and the patterns are interesting. I think there's just enough detail in the sky to keep it interesting and the overall 'lushness' of it is really eyecatching.

Thank you Josh. It was a bit blurred because I was handholding at 1/10. Served me right for not taking along the tripod. I am going there again and hope to God, the sun would give me that same hues or better. This time I would bring the tripod.
As for your picture here, I had the same problem. Too contrasting the scenery and therefore we have to lose some saturation in the background. I would recommend a polarizing filter when shooting in Malaysia. What do you think Josh?

Hi Josh, Very interesting to learn that tea is grown in Malaysia. Good wide view showing that everay avalable piece of land is used. Good clarity and colour. Murray.
