Photographer's Note
Another picture in the same location in the Boh Tea Plantation as yesterday's pic:
http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/Malaysia/photo25490.htm in the Cameron Highlands, Peninsula Malaysia.
After cutting the tea leaves using hand held mechanical cutters, the leaves end up in this tractor on the way back to the nearby processing factory.
The picture is slightly cropped and has a small increase in saturation, but the changes are minor.

It's another really nice shot which is well composed. There are 2 things I would say though. First, I think the sunlight is very strong here so there is a lot of reflection off the leaves. Is there a post processing fix which can help this??? Second, I think it would be well worth playing with the colours and sharpness a bit more to give it a bit more depth.
But still, a really good shot. Please keep them coming!

This is an interesting and informative picture and I like the composition - the way the track leads slightly into the pic and the position of the tractor though if I was being really piccy it would have worked better if the tractor was going into the photo instead of out it - at least for me. There is a lot of glare off the leaves - a polariser would've helped but if you were using a compact camera this probably wasn't possible. Still its nice and being a big tea drinker its interesting to see where it all comes from!

For a tea-lover like me, this is a wonderful shot!
In particular, the mechanical engine in the middle adds a lot to the interest: color contrast, and coposition. Here I am really getting the feeling of entering into the process of making what I'm just drinking now! ;)

That's why I love TE : to be able to see what I will maybe never see by my own eyes. Quite interesting picture.

Hi Josh, this is quite the interesting composition.
I admire the growth pattern of the tea...seemingly in cut-out patches with room around to walk through each clump...I have never seen this before...thanks,
Although the photo would have looked spot on if the sun wasn't blaring down. I agree that adjusting the colour levels with a photo program would have perfected it.
Great capture,
