Cool picture. I like the composition of this picture and the way the old building takes up most of the frame. This is similar to a photo I posted yesterday.

Bonjour Lois,
I love daily life pictures, the instant that brings our imagination instantly in the scene. Personnally, I would have shot a bit more on the left to cut off the half box of flower and show more in the direction the woman looks at. Very nice colors, texture and light. Congratulations!

wonderful, Lois! I like that there is nothing but the facade of the house on the shot - as if those windows and walls fill in all the space. Being richly segmented they also give a complex geometrical look to the shot (I am sorry, I am obsessed with complex geometry, therefore, I appreciate it anywhere ;o) And of course, woman's figure makes the shot a nice account of daily life. O.
