Photographer's Note
I was watching people watching a photo showing a photo of a photo, so I took a photo of them watching.
National Geographic photo exhibtion at the Beijing Millenium Monument. The photo is a village chief holding a National Geographic magazine with a photo taken 13 years previously, where he looks exactly the same.

Excellent photo Josh !
Very very good composition, good choice on the B&W.
The picture on the right is very disturbing though, I've posted a workshop.
Still, a great shot, very well seen.

Nice multi-photo, Josh. :-) Simple and impressive. I agree with done workshop, however.

interesting scene, interesting idea. although the composition could be easily a little better, just stepping one step to the right, to see only those people and this one picture only, then we wouldn't see the part of the other picture in the upper right corner. or just zooming in a bit as we can in the workshop done by guyben.
still it is a nice shot

Does he watching me, or the three ones in front of him? And you, whom are you watching? the older or the 13 years younger one? A lot of questions there...
Focusing better on it would increase the "watching me/watching" effect.
Very well seen, Josh.

Great shot .. and note, hi hi.
These people seem to be hypnotized by this photo.... unless these are giant photos of the back of three woman that were place there to simulate a crowd watching.
Very well seen Josh.

That is an excellent subject! He so seems to say "look at me! look at me!", you could even think of cult of personnality here, with this small group of followers; this photo makes a lot of reflexions come to mind. As most said, I like the cropping in Guyben's workshop better.

Very impressive photo and seemed to be good timing with the 3 women there intently studying the photo. I also aggree with the changes in guyben's workshop.

Besides the very good idea of shooting this kind of mirror scene, your framing is excellent, because you have these persons ideally placed in front of the "chief". Adds a feeling of respect from the viewers. Pretty good exposure, DOF and contrast for an indoor shot at this exposure. Guy's ws is enhancing your framing very well. Well seen, Josh.

A picture with a picture within a picture. I love the look that everyone apears to be making eye contact. This one could be improved with a little tighter crop (as demonstrated in the workshop) and maybe a little levels adjustment.
