Photographer's Note
A continuation of yesterday's tea theme of The Tea Picker in B&W or a colour example
After the tea leaves are picked, they have a high moisture content. They have the moisture content reduced by about half by drying in a long flat bed fan forced drying machine. Here one of the factory workers is spreading the freshly picked tea leaves over the bed of the drying machine.

Tech notes:
It was quite dark inside but I took a series of photos in natural light with 400ASA B&W film and a fast prime lens. Slightly cropped from the original. I included a lot of background to give a view of the inside of the factory.

Very nice portrait Josh! The bright parts in the background right from the factory worker distracts me slightly, on the otherhand the bright left side of her face is truly beautiful lightened. It really brings out her jawline.
Personallly I find it always hard to compromise when it comes to choosing the film's speed. 400, 800 and 1600 films are great when it comes to inside handheld shooting, but their biggest downside is their overexposuring of brighter areas...
Still I think you made a good choice including some of the factory environment. Good work!

I like this picture, Josh. You successfully captured a great expression of the womans face. Despite the fact you centered the point of focus of the image, the subject is still interesting, mainly because the big diaphragm (and hence, small DOF) you used here. The right part of the image is a bit tilted, though. I think you should consider a further cropping here, leaving the woman and the tea leaves alone. Anyway, good work!

Very nice picture again Josh. I like it a lot. May be the composition could have been tighter.

very nice picture again, great expression and great B&W. I wish the composition was a bit tighter, not central.. I think about the scene divided into two parts - the women on the right side, the basket on the left...
anyway, good stuff

Interesting shot. Pity, though, about the blown out areas on the right. Draws my attention there and away from the main subject. Also, maybe a less central placement of the subject would work better as well. In any case, you've managed to capture a wonderful shot here. Good work.
